Album Notes

TRES GATOS, is a power trio from central California that has been together for about six years. This band utilizes elements of surf, blues, funk, punk, chunk, 60's psychedelia, garage-abilly and even flamenco...to create their own brand of musical mayhem! (Hmmm kinda like B52's meet AC/DC meet Dick Dale, while jamming with Rick James???) well... yeah, that's close!

Featuring Pat Jeter on electric, acoustic and slide guitar, vocals, and chewing gum, the lovely Miss Jules Vern on bass, vocals, and prize-giveaways. And last, but not least, Carl "The Big" Dybowski on drums and general rowdiness.

TRES GATOS, veterans of the club-bar-private party scene have a repertoire of over five hours worth of material. Choosing songs for their new CD "Out Of The Bag", was rather difficult. "These eleven tracks are just the tip of the iceberg!" says Jules Vern.

TRES GATOS hopes you will enjoy this CD by taking it home, slapping it on, blasting it loud and dancing in your underwear with the curtains open!

This CD and Trio Rock.. Try it YOU will LIKE IT.

This CD is a must have for you library. The cover everthing from Funk, Blues, Rock, Crunky, Smooth, and everything in between. Pat just bends the guitar to make it work in any way he wants, Jules thumps the Bass with a class and ease that just lends to the sound they produce. Carl keeps it all in rythme with a simple and subtle but even roll that just finishes off the trio with a bold and stylish sound. If you want something to keep you up beat and off beat just pick up this CD. And for something better just catch one of there live gigs.. Later all....

RL, Iggy, Yoko, your place, 9 tonight
author: miss x
It's like going to a party where RL Burnside is in the corner sippin' whiskey with Iggy Pop. Later on, Yoko Ono shows up, fronting an AC/DC cover-band consisting of munchkins. Then it's all a big blur. Until you get up at 2pm and do it again the next night.

The trio is dynamite and the songs they have put together compliment one another as well as the group's style of playing. Although I like Pat and Carl really well, Julies you ROCK!
