"Who would have thought we could be making this album? We're just a couple of musicians from Iowa!" we said.

"No, don't say that!" Bill Maxwell told us. "Besides, I like Iowa."

When Bruce (producer, father) and Trevis (arranger, son) set out to put together a recording of music to uplift and encourage those who heard it, they had no idea that they would soon be in contact with some of the finest musicians on the planet. The core sound of Koinonia -- Abraham Laboriel, Bill Maxwell, and Justo Almario -- along with Tom Brooks, Carl Albrecht, and more came on board to help make what turned out to be a truly outstanding album.

The set list includes new renditions of some classic Koinonia tunes, original material first heard here, and a previously-unreleased song written and sung by Phil Driscoll.
