Born February 14th, 1974, Trevor R Todd entered the world in El Paso, Texas. His childhood is reported to have been rough. Military family, rocky marriage, endless sickness and injury. His family settled in Seattle WA.
There he began playing the saxaphone at the age of 12, guitar at the age of 13, bass and drums at 14 and vocals subsequently. All the while engaging in frequent writing of lyrics and poetry.
At a staggering 6'10" tall by the age of 16, people had hoped to see him engage in athletics, namely Basketball. He is quoted as saying," Why, again, is it so important to throw a ball through a hole?"
These times were marked by an inward struggle between the spiritual and secular. Either way he went there was always music and words.
After High School he struggled to adapt to the regular flow of life. Experimenting with alcohol and drugs earlier on had become full on addiction. He was known to support his habits playing and singing on University Way in Seattle.
Finding intermittent stability Trevor began to travel first via hitchhiking, then by means of traveling sales jobs. Spending time in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oklahoma, Iowa, Illinois among other locals, his love was the south. Managing to stay as long as possible he would return to New Orleans often.
In 2000, after many weary years on the road, Trevor checked into a rehabilitation center in Jackson, MS. There he began a redemptive journey back to his first love, Music. Though it took some slips, and trying times, he was able to walk away from his demons and return to pursue his dreams.
Known for stints in various acts such as, Bucknuckle, Hail, Tribe, and a short bass playing foray in Callbox, Trevor has a variety of experience in many musical genres. This shines through in his latest work which highlights his versatility in writing and performing.
Beginning production in January of 2007, Trevor R Todd has been writing, arranging, and recording his new album-A Scathing Indictment Of The Righteous. It is a journey through a tortured past and a beautiful future. Highlighted with overtones of the battle within and the hope of a second chance, you will be sure to enjoy the depth and conviction with which this artist has grown.
Slated for release 7/7/07, the album is sure to enlighten as well as disturb those who will brave it. Don't miss it.

It's been such a long time i haven't listened to an album of that quality. Every song is a story, that will go straight to one's heart, either murmured like a confession or screamed like a call for help, love being the driving force of the whole album. Music, lyrics and voice are linked all together to express in an unique way the deep feelings of a man in whom we all recognize ourselves. This is really the cd of the year.

author: Joe Dolan Public Relations
The Scathing Indictment of the Righteous is more than a testament to standing tall, (Trevor is a short 6'10" tall) it's an an exponential expression from the soul and spirit of Trevor Todd to the listening ear of anyone who has opened their eyes, stood up from their beds and lived a day in the life.
Touching on the sound of modern day rock with a classic timeless feel, the ringing chords blended with the crunch of distortion never reach a place where you wince and furrough your brow. In itself and it's marriage of tones and harmonies it is laced with a lyricist who is audible and understandable, leaving you able to turn the music up loud and actually enjoy it! Truly a CD you can listen to with the windows rolled down and the volume up uP UP!
Unlike some debut discs, Trevor's disc is replete with 15 sure shot tracks - get this, a full debut disc, no holds barred. It's easy to see that Trevor isn't a one hit wonder, the consistency of the songs throughout the disc leads the listener to understand, Trevor is a man who has mastered his ability to verse through song and he will surely continue to do so on following CD's.
