Triangle Park began in 2000 as a trio of sleep-deprived moms, banging away on instruments in a living room. They called themselves The Brawny Motherfolkers. In the summer of 2002, they met their drummer, Chadly, and changed their name to Triangle Park. Members Kate and Annie (bass and guitar, respectively) have worked together for over twelve years, first as nationally touring dancer/performers, and now as the front women and songwriters for Triangle Park. Triangle Park loves to record as well as playing live, refreshing shows, heavy on charisma and unpredictable energy. Performing life before Triangle Park: Kate Lynch a Metropolitan Regional Arts Council grant recipient, and a two time McKnight Choreographers' Fellow, has graced the stages of: Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) New York Dance Theater Workshop (DTW) New York Northrop Auditorium Annie Enneking a Twin Cities KUDOS Award winner for Best Actress, Princess Grace Foundation Award Recipient, and 2000's Kristen Phaff Memorial Scholarship winner, has performed with: The Children's Theater Company of Minneapolis Theatre de la Jeune Lune Frank Theater
