Tribal “Cardboard Heroes”
(Recorded and Produced by Tribal) - out October 2005
The Album Review
Tribal are from Switzerland, but don't be mislead. They're not resting on the comfortable, although very cold atmosphere of their country. In approximately two years of being together writing songs, they had a keen look to inner human passions and globalism issues. In their lyrics they had a sincere word about the current status of capitalism in Western countries as well as about the end of a friendship or love relationship. They gave us their fierce opinion on the information system and the way it is used by show business and multinationals.
If we should have to synthesize our judgment on their first CD Album, one word comes quickly to our mind: complete. With Cardboard Heroes, Tribal proved us that they are a really fine
rock'n'roll band. So, no debate about the fact that this is a very good record. Tribal are also selfproduced, which is not so trivial as you may think in a music industry dominated by marketing
decisions rather than quality look-out.
Nowadays it is so easy to find a lot of crap high in the charts of every country (and UK or USA
make no exception). So don't lose your time and money following hollow musical trends that radio and TV want to thrust to you. Go out and get a copy now! Or, stay in and order your copy through the web at www.tribal-rock.com. You will not regret a single chord. And most of all, the whole album really rocks!
Tribal definitely deserve your attention, if you wish to avoid all the mainstream rubbish. At least they deserve to be noticed. You won't be let down. And if you live in Switzerland, go see them live. Lots of energy and 'good old modern rock' awaits you.
