Thank you for your visit with me and my music!

Originally from West Virginia, I now live in Nashville, TN pursuing songwriting and recording.

I've sung on the streets of Nashville to pay the rent and feel like I've learned so much while developing my music and performing skills and also building some great relationships through my music.

I grew up listening to country and gospel music.

I play piano and have diversified with many types of music at times to get work but my true heart is in this album.

I think it's me and mostly I really hope you like the music.

I also hope you like the songs I picked out for you too.

Although always eager here, I really took the needed time to put this album together and wish I could take even more time to thank everyone involved in the recording.

You will see all the important names noted in the CD sleeve when you get your copy.

I wanted to record an album that captures what I think country music is about today.

I'm very happy with the outcome and most excited to share it with you! The songs are mostly about relationships which is what I think makes the world go around.

So I think I'm keeping in good thought here with some good music.

Marcus Tribble has a pleasant soft edged, very country voice. He can get that attractive natural little cry into it effortlessly, and yet he can get down in the low notes, and easily reaches higher notes too. With harmony in most tracks, it gives him a pretty sounding strength to the songs. And he sings with enthusiasm, backed by full, tight country music, with some nice piano music in the Open Your Eyes track and What Was I Thinking. Some attractive fiddle playing swings along in I Could Love You With My Eyes Closed, and Marcus and harmony make such satisfying listening pleasure. Did You Feel That is a delicately told little song with a pretty melody, and Marcus sings his way through it with feeling. New Looks From an Old Lover rocks along with a fine beat and Marcus goes from low to high, and once again, the harmony giving a fine sound along with the musicians. Only One You is the song Marcus' vocals excell in. In all songs his diction is clear. Through the Eyes of My Heart is Marcus' own song, and while having a familiar sound, it's a nice, melodic song with good lyrics. This 10 track album is a must for the country music lover's library and we look forward to more albums by this artist.
