Album Notes

Tribrix is a Rocktronica Artist.

Lo Rez Preview is, like the name implies, an advance "preview" of the first 3 Tribrix albums. While all the songs are "finished" some may be changed again for the album release. Lo Rez Preview was released at this time because it is taking so long to finish all three records. Please enjoy these songs. They were lovingly hand crafted for your ears' delight. Now, on to more general information . . .

The Rocktronica produced by Tribrix may contain the following audio ingredients:

deadpan screams, angelic robots, deep fuzzy bass, pulsing throbs, hard edged guitars, playful dance riffs, heavy drums, electro loops, overdriven hammond chords, warm synth tones and many others.

Although this combination of sounds may be unfamiliar to you, take comfort in the fact that no deaths have yet been reported due to their combined effects. Tribrix is not responsible for any toe tapping, head bobbing, or butt shaking which may result from this aural smörgåsbord. If you feel you have been positively or negatively affected by anything you hear here, please don’t hesitate to contact , Lenny Timons, aka Tribrix.

The Story so far, “Maybe you’ve been out, looking to buy something, and discovered no one was selling the thing you wanted. That happened to me. I first picked up an electric guitar in 1989, and even started to write some music, but nothing with lyrics. But I never thought about being a musician, full time, it was just something I liked to do. But after trying for years to find a good Christmas album to dance to, in 2005 I decided to start working on one myself. I still had no idea it would take over my life. But it has."

"In addition to the Christmas album I started producing Beethoven tracks that attempt to blend Rock and Electronica, like all the music I've been working on. I let my sister preview some of the things I'd been working on, but she said she couldn’t understand music without lyrics. So, I wrote the song, “I Don’t Wanna’ Fight”. I can’t tell you why that changed everything for me, but it did. Was it the inclusion of the lyrics? I can’t tell you, but I was just so motivated to create. I went back to the Christmas album and added some vocal tracks. I started writing lyrics and songs all the time.
