More guitar driven, alternative styles, songs of a life pursuit of Christ, with lyrics that hit between the eyes. "This ain't your mama's praise music." (Think Hoyt Axton crossed with Delirious?, Beatles, and Pink Floyd.)

Album Notes

Rick Trice is an independent singer/ songwriter/ actor/ preacher who lives in the cool mountain foothills of Northern New Mexico with his beautiful and talented wife, Linda, who joins him on keyboards, both on stage and in the studio. Rick has been writing and performing a blend of (what would now be called) "alternative - country - Christian rock" for over 35 years now, offering his diverse, guitar-driven melodies on a variety of themes addressing this thing called "life on Earth." Trice’s songwriting is heavily influenced by a wide range of musicians, including Lennon/McCartney, Pete Townsend, Hoyt Axton, Justin Hayward, Phil Keaggy, Rich Mullins, and David Gilmour, to name but a few.

His lyrics are heavily influenced by God's Word, the Bible, and reflect his journey of faith in Christ Jesus. His goal is to also encourage others to find and nurture their own relationship with their Creator and Redeemer, and urges us to find and excel in those gifts within ourselves that are unique.

(ie. "Play skillfully, with a loud noise!" - Psalm 33:3)
