Progressive hard rock band playing weird, unconventional, geeky music and consisting of filthy and distorted bass, violin, organ, drums, and NO GUITAR, and sometimes likened to Frank Zappa or Firehose. Can it rock? Come see for yourself.

TRILOBITE CAFE, hailing from Nashville TN, are a progressive band which does not feature guitar but instead features violin, bass/vocals, organ, and drums. They are like "VIOLINIST STEPHANE GRAPPELLI MEETS URIAH HEEP IN A DARK ALLEY AFTER 10 CUPS OF COFFEE", which also describes their new CD, "MEXICAN VACATION."
The band's refusal to use guitar is not an anti-guitar statement; they just want to take a different approach to rock music. The melodies are driven by the vocals and violin, the organ gives the music an added texture, and the bass (which is overdriven) and the drums lay down the pavement giving the band a certain "heaviness." Now hear their new release, "MEXICAN VACATION" on their own Chloe's Household Records label. The new CD features 8 dynamic songs featuring the single "NOBODY WANTS TO DIE." This CD also features the Hammond organ talents of ex uriah heep keyboardist KEN HENSLEY. BUY IT TODAY!!!Trilobite cafe is:
Craig Anderson-bass/lead vox
Tami Sturges-Violin
Ryan Kamper-organ,moog,piano
Andy Womack-drums
