A mother from Austin, Texas has a daughter who reportedly was unable to fall asleep at night after experiencing sexual abuse. She played the music for her daughter at bedtime, and the little girl instantly fell asleep. The mother wrote to the Kahele Foundation stating, "This is what finally helped my daughter overcome debilitating insomnia. This music is therapy for the soul."
Dr. Jones, a psychotherapist in Northern California who counsels abused children, has implemented this music into her therapy practice. In January of 2004, Trina visited Kona on the big island of Hawaii, a place she travels often. One of her passions is swimming in the ocean off of Kona, with the wild dolphins known to reside in these deep waters. Trina took a boat trip with John Float, founder of International Cetacean Education Research Center. They were at sea for over two hours and not a single dolphin had arrived. Trina knew the music would bring them, so she asked John to play the CD loudly for the sound to vibrate throughout the waters. Within minutes, nearly 200 dolphins had encircled the boat, as well as a humpback whale with her calf! Trina believes that the vibrations from the music were a catalyst for bringing man and creature together on that blessed day.
