Trine is Rick Britto - saxophones, Jim Robitaille - guitar and Chris Poudrier - drums and percussion. They have performed as a trio as well as in many other settings for years in the New England jazz scene. Trine\'s music is open ended with lots of very connected collective improvisation based on written compositions by the groups members. They bring a strong sense of energy, spirit, emotion and color to the group through varying musical devices such as free playing, chant and drone elements.
