Album Notes

Hailing from New York City, the TSC will be skanking and moshing your way soon, to clobber you with their own high-energy, hard-swinging, boot-stomping, screw-you brand of music. Rooted in SKA with a heavy dose of SWING, infused with the energy of ROCKABILLY and a PUNK rock attitude, the Tri-State Conspiracy is sure to get even the most stalwart arm-crosser to wake up and MOVE!

Since their formation in 2001, they have played over 100 shows at venues including CBGB, The Knitting Factory, SOB's, Hard Rock Cafe.. and with such bands as The Toasters, The Slackers, The Pietasters, Big D and the Kids Table, and Murphys Law.

On October 21 2005, Tri-State Conspiracy released their first full length album "High Strung Mess" featuring 10 studio tracks of their most polished, live tested material. Tackling such timely topics as revenge, social anxiety, and mental illness, the album offers no apologies right from the start with the opening track, (Why dont you F%..cking Change your) Attitude! Tracks two and three (High Strung Mess and Frantic) offer biting commentaries on the battle that IS life in New York City. The next group of songs stomps into the territories of revenge, relationships, murder, suicide and mental illness, before closing with a boot-stomping theme song, the TSC Stomp.

This album is 100% INDEPENDENTLY PRODUCED AND RELEASED, with no affiliations to record labels or publishing companies. Our fans have always done a lot to help us along so far, and now were counting on YOU to help spread the word! Awesome CD
author: Chris H
Found out about TSC from a coworker who went to high school with the wife of the bass player or something suitably crazy. Gave it a listen to be polite and had to order my own copy by the end of the day. Love all the songs, incredible energy.
