Mose Allison happens to be a particular favorite blues singer of mine,and having listened to just the first track, Mose instantly springs to mind. Track 2 however was like listening to a completely different singer. As the cd played on it all started to 'gel' together rather nicely. Country blues for sure...kind of made me wish I was on holiday,just cruising along on that old African Queen, with Denny laid back playing the entire album for me...(no I don't look like Katherine Hepburn)...just waiting for the sun to go down,and,as the song says,'I ain't nowhere around'. Tropical Denny's lifestyle and music seems patterned after Jimmy Buffet. Acoustic "beach" music, sounds a bit like country at times. Has a real tropical flavor. This is one of those albums that you kick back and relax to.

Hi,Tropical Denny. I have just received and reviewed your CD,"Music to Beach About", and I love the hell out of this. I put a PickHit notation by every song-which doesn' happen very often.
