Album Notes

Beezy Taylor is a professional music teacher and
musician in Colorado Springs. Originally from New York City,
she obtained her music education there then moved
to Colorado Springs in 1964. She met Don in 1984 as his music teacher.

Don Johnson is from Denver. Here in Colorado Springs he manages a Trophy Shop. His favorite pastime is distance running; Don is very active in the Lions and a local running club. Don has been a professional musician in Colorado Springs since 1989

Troubadour is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They have been performing and recording together since February. 1990. Venues include restaurants, senior housing, schools, private and municipal events, and festivals, including the Colorado Renaissance Festival, which largely inspired this collection. This is their fifth album.

These songs come from the British Isles. They have spread outward, with other Celtic music, and many can be traced back for several hundred years. The themes are universal: love, tall tales, work, loyalty, the sea-faring life, fun and silliness...
