A year past our promise of new music, the latest Troubadour versus the Sea Witch material is finally arriving. "Baroque Superman" is one of 11 new tracks to be featured on the upcoming spring release, "Royal Palimpsest." The core influences are still present. (You decide what those are.) But we are moving into the realm of Foptronic (No, not Frippertonics... we are not remotely that good) Retro Sunshine. More modern electronic techniques are employed in our usual antiquated and anachronistic way. We will say this, however.... Well, Troubadour will say this, "The singing is better." The Sea Witch continues to demur regarding such boasts. Anyway, the new track has a bit of Garage, a bit of Dream Pop, a bit of Psyche and Prog, and a snippet of Small Faces circa the Steve Marriott era. (OK so we decided for you.) What this means to you is it's long and indulgent. Yet we beg and implore you to go to it gentle listener!
