Great hummable songs!
author: Jessica
This CD showcases the signature melodic songwriting of guitarist Mark Wyman - the songs are wonderfully hummable and the melodies are sometimes haunting. Singers Jen Nau & Dawn Wyman complement each other brilliantly... I think "To So Many Men" is the best example of what this band can do. "Mr. Mockery" is a great song which unfortunately doesn't have the same energy on the CD that it does live. In other words, if you like the CD, go see them live! You'll love it!

Powerfully expressed with a demand of pure vocal sound & strings
author: Valerie
I had the pleasure of catching 'TTWG' gig at Lola's Room in Portland Ore on 8/20/05. I was mesmerized by their energy, powerful vocals, & overall performance. I immediatly ordered their cd. I'm very pleased! The melodic tempo radically conveys strong vocals {Jennifer Nau: Lead vocals; Dawn Wyman: vocals/percussion},& great rhythmic strings;{Mark Wyman: Rhythmic/lead guitar & Dylan Walters: Lead/Rhythm guitar} with a fierce & to be heard ~of life's heartfelt high & lows of ~justified anger, empathy, regret, torment & pain. Resurrecting to an unbreakable strength of example & firey exclaim~~ Jennifer & the pulsating of strings rise with all adieu dramatically to their final burn of "Hallelujah" +++++ Their Sound & SHOW was SIMPLY HOT!

author: ken lawrence
the notes at the end of the song list on cd baby describe these ladies as foo fighters or maybe some of the other alt rock of the 1990s only with girls. well one of the problems with so much of that music, after you listen to it you feel like shit. don't want to feel like shit or that i want to go kill someone of another creed or color just because i'm disinfranchized. well these ladies don't make you feel like shit. this is good pop rock good power pop or what ever you want to call it unlike the stupid american idiot that everyohne loves these days, the trouble with girls is real pop with great rifs and great vocals.
