Album Notes

Troutband began on a pair of acoustic guitars in New Haven, CT as Yale roommates James Prosek and Etay Ziv mused over the aches and pleasures of adolescent girlfriends. They played local coffeehouses, and kept notes on the tunes.

When they met guitarist and recording fanatic Joe Dochtermann, things took a new turn. The songs were given a professional treatment in Joe's small studio, booking in a few local pros to build some solid tracks. The collision of musical influences and styles created a unique album of songs which sounds fresh with every listen.
