Over the Limit

by Trout Fishing in America

TFIA's music has always been characterized as a sound that seems too large to come from just two musicians. Great folk/rock and Americana music that both parents and kids enjoy.

REVIEWS:

NASHVILLE SCENE
Trout Fishing in America has a longstanding reputation as one of the mostenergetic, innovative live acts on the touring circuit. When they tried to release an album that captured that spirit, however, their career turned into a fisherman's tale about the one that got away. The duo just couldn't seem to reel in the big one--until they released their latest disc, 'Over the Limit.'

Comprised of bassist Keith Grimwood, who is a little over 5 feet 5 inches, and guitarist Ezra Idlet, who stands at 6 feet 9 inches, Trout Fishing inAmerica is both aurally and visually striking--a self-described 'power duo'and 'A&R nightmare.'

TFIA's music has always been characterized as a sound that seems too large to come from just two musicians. The 13 cuts on 'Over the Limit', which werewritten by Grimwood and Idlet, range from the upbeat anthem 'Just a Little While' to the plaintively touching 'Lori's Song' to the offbeat 'Dead Egyptian Blues.'
