Album Notes

The Truants formed in Jackson, Ohio in 1964. As young teenagers, they played high school parties, teen dances, Jr. /Sr. proms, supermarket openings, fashion shows, community events and festivals. Like many fledgling garage bands of the day, they copied what they heard on the radio: The Kingsmen, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Rivers, and The Ventures, country music, folk music and R&B. After their appearance on the TV program, Let’s Dance in Huntington, WV they quickly became one of the most popular bands playing in the 1960's.

This CD is an opportunity for you to relive the good old days of that fabulous era of music that was the 1960's.
