Album Notes

TRUBADOR is an American rock band based out of Nashville TN. They have melodic driven songs with originality, depth, emotion and plenty of hard-driving drums. The singer vocalizes most songs with a heavily-felt presence. Sometimes they lighten up with acoustic work but still remain firmly infused in their heavier roots.

They've been described as having the sadness and haunting sounds of Black Sabbath, to the heavy feel of Alice in Chains in some songs. Most of their fans are music listeners who enjoy long listens, album rock, 90's heavy/grunge style and 70's metal bands. With a requirement of strong song writing.

TRUBADOR is a rule breaker. Known frequently to break rock-song rules by having many structures built within each song. They continually will push the boundaries of a listener. This can range from having no chorus, to no singing on a chorus, using half vocalized and half instrumental songs, going straight acoustic, and using a range of lyric content from three worded songs to 9 minute epics.

They're described best by their fans as very original, kick ass rock with a return to serious music writing as an art form. What the band says they do best is this; "We place a lot of emotional trust in our listeners. We know we don't always follow the rules of what your "supposed to do" or what's popular for musicians today but we're guided more by what we feel the song needs and how we feel when listening to it. Ultimately we leave all of our trust in the ears of our listeners and fans. They're really what this is all about for us. Getting our music into their hands and building a relationship with them."
