my name is min. rob best. thanks for visiting my website! for those of you who may not know me, i'm the christian rapper "tru-c".. i've ran these streets half of my life. i was a local well known d.j.(d.j. bliz) who tried it all and did it all! my father was a pastor and yes i still did everything i was big enough to do. my testimony is a strong blessing to anyone that will listen to it. as a baby i wasn't expected to live 24 hrs. after my birth and it was said that if i did i would surely be mentally retarded,

(but god!). for those of you who wonder why i would say "but god" it's because if it had not been for christ healing me as baby i wouldn't even be on this web site today! as i grew up i lost my way and ended up in the very sin that my dad preached against for most of his and my life, but after loosing my father in (1996) my life began to slide down hill. i tried all that the world had to offer, but there was still no real satisfaction in what i was doing..so in (1999) i decided to give up my strongest connection to this world, the music . i was into making music, rapping, producing ,drugs, sex, witchcraft, deejaying & everything and anything else for about 10yrs and i just got tired of the life i was living..so i said no more! i i sold every piece of equipment that i owned just to find myself right back in the game, but with a different motive..the cats i ran with back then called me every name they could think of including dummy, but god turned it around and gave it all back to me and then some!

i finally realized what it was i needed to do in the year of 2000, i had to give my life to christ! my dad preached to me most of my life , but back then i just didn't want to hear it. through all those years he was continuing to sow seed after seed within me that was bound to blossom and one day that seed finally cracked open within my soul! my name isn't just a name it's a life style, (tru "true"-christian). i don't play games with god, his people or my salvation. there're the most important things in my life..i would like to think by now that you have realized that i was drawn back into the music and no i didn't backslide! i have released six albums and one documentary independently to this date and of course all credit goes to god! i've been traveling to the furthest corners of this world to spread the gospel of christ. in the summer time i like to have street services in the worst parts of your towns... i have no problem at all standing on the streets and telling how good god was and still is to me!.

in the winter i find myself preaching (that's right, preaching) more so than rapping because it's just too cold to get equipment out to the streets in this season. the lord has blessed me to run youth explosions, revivals, workshops, parties & services in glenville g.a., north carolina, south carolina, richmond v.a., lower v.a., washinton d.c, baltimore, salisbury, ocean city, berlin, princess anne, and westover m.d and many other places that god has showed up and turned out! it is truly a blessing to be able to help build up a kingdom that i once helped to tear down.. i love each and every last one of you that have supported me through the years.. i speak an abundance of blessings into each of your lives!
