True Apothecary, once an electronica based college project, has morphed slowly into acoustic rock and pop act. It's sole member, (at least for now), David Brooks, originally from North Carolina, now finds himself running around most of Westchester County, New York. With a range influences from Pete Yorn, Michael Jackson, early to mid 90's R&B, (Bozy II Men, Brian McKnight, Babyface), Devon Williams, Iron & Wine and Further Seems Forever, True Apothecary has an eclectic, yet catchy, sound. True Apothecary's first release, The Lion Will Speak, is out May 2009. True Apothecary is currently seeking members, expect more information soon.
