Rarely can a group of musicians, individually unique in their performing careers, come together to meld into a band as true to the spirit as TRUE SPIRIT. Percussionist Victor Williams along with Guitarist John Grant maintain a fluid band roster, enlisting the talents of other concert and studio musicians.

Williams and Grant joined in TRUE SPIRIT by Drummer Blues Web, Bassist Gary Grainger, Pianist Benjie Porecki, and Saxophonist Dave Fairall form a remarkably high energy group whose combined years of professional performing exceeds 30 years.

The members of TRUE SPIRIT have played, recorded or toured with internationally known performers such as George Duke, Dennis Chambers, Celine Dion, John McLaughlin, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Najee, John Schofield, Bob Berg, and Vanessa Williams.
For this project Williams and Grant enlisted the help of Najee on sax, Dennis Chambers on drums and Gregg Karukas on piano.

Playing primarily adult contemporary music, a combination of groove, funk and jazz, TRUE SPIRIT is a very high-energy group whose musicians, individually and collectively, leave audiences begging for more.
