Album Notes

When he was about 12, a boy received as a gift a GE double-deck cassette player/recorder. In a very short time he “discovered” that he could re-edit and create loops using that instant pause button. He would spend enjoyable hours on one song alone.

TRX (pronounced “T-Rex”) D’Operator didn’t know much about the beatmaking process then, but he was absolutely certain that his “double-deck” beginning stage was a niche in the making.

Graduating from tape deck to beat machine, TRX began making beats for rappers in his late teens. He set out to become a skilled beatmaker, similar to his heavy influences: DJ Premier, Hi-Tek, Jay Dee, and Timbaland. After some time operating with the keys and pads, well, let\'s just say his practice made perfect. TRX, not being the boasting type, says that he just puts down what comes to him, citing things like GOD, nature---even food as sources of inspiration.

Fast-forward to now; fresh off of releasing the highly anticipated Instrumental Hip-Hop recording, \'Rhythmic Expression\', TRX D’Operator is a confirmed rising beatstar who doesn’t see a pause button going down on his work ethic anytime soon.
