Album Notes

Todd Steed lived on a partially submerged Russian submarine for two years while composing all 15 songs for Eskimo Hair. Braving swimmer\'s ear and other afflictions, Steed completed the recording in 2008 and it was soon made available to the happy smiling public.

The Suns Of Phere on this recording include:

Ed Richardson, Dave Nichols, Bob Deck, Jeff Bills, Tim Lee, Hector Qirko, Elodie Lafont, Mic Harrison, Owen Davis, Jimmy Mann, Peggy Hambright, Jon Whitlok, Phill Pollars, Eric Nowinksi, Don Coffey Jr. and numerous other folks. It\'s an all-star casts of some of Knoxville\'s finest musicians. There are others, but we aren\'t sure how to spell their names so we left them off.

Eskimo Hair takes you on an amazing twisted journey and drops you off somewhere different from where you started. But if you look carefully inside the lyrics, you will find your way back home via Highway 78 and a Chinese Barber Shop on a side road. If this doesn\'t make sense, you\'re ready to own a copy of Eskimo Hair.

This is post-Katrina music made by blue minds in red states, if that helps.
