Album Notes

The Second-Time-Around Dance Band is an all-star band made up of 17 retired professional artists who were members of famous big bands from the 1950s and earlier. Their marvelous arrangements of great standards from the good-old days were styled by the principle arranger for Johnny Carson's Tonight Show.

These tracks were first recorded by the original STA band during the 1980s when they were at the top of their form, now digitally re-mastered in modern CD format.

The sound and style is unique - very danceable, nostalgic and even humerous at times. No other band will make you smile, tap your toes and sing along like the SECOND TIME AROUND DANCE BAND.
