Album Notes

TTAMS was started as a solo acoustic project and then went on to a full band in 2006. Each of the guys share a passion for making music and sharing it with others! You won't find a harder working, more fun loving group of guys to listen to and hang out with. They are very dedicated to what they do and want to build a relationship with each and every one of their fans!

Their latest CD "Black and White Affair" has been a work in progress for almost a year and TTAMS is excited to release the CD along with their 2008 summer tour!

You can't put this band in a box or really classify their sound - they fit into many genre's thus keeping them fresh and set apart from others. TTAMS has been influenced by the music of Death Cab for Cutie, Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World and many more. The story behind their name, as quoted by Kylan, " In the movie, "Singin' In The Rain" Gene Kelly states, "Well...we movie stars get the glory, I guess we have to take the little heartaches that go with it. People think we live lives of glamour and romance, but we're really lonely...terribly lonely." that's kind of the idea behind The Truth About Moviestars. that even if we idolize people and put them on a pedestal as the epitomy of this or that, they're still just people."
