Album Notes

From the streets of Beijing to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to Brazil and Bermuda (and a few places in between), Brian Tulk has played music all over the world as a side man for other bands and artists and also as a solo songwriter performer. Born in Toronto, Canada and still residing there, Brian\'s first cd The Pop Machine is a straight up, undiluted, in your face (and ears) pop music extravaganza: as the title suggests. Self produced, played and performed it is an album for those in the mood for great hooks, melodies and harmonies. \'Sure I love really atmospheric and introspective music,\' he says \'but this particular body of work is just supposed to be a sort of sweet audio esthetic while still keeping in line with my highest priority which is of course having really strong songs.\' If you like it, buy it. If you love it, buy some more and give em to your friends. You can check out more of him at www.myspace.com/briantulk
