Album Notes

Tune Hall is like Greenwich Village in the 60’s but with a website and made in Canada.

It's a kinetic idea that is turning the music industry on its head. They are more of an experimental musician's community than a band. And if they are a band it may well become the biggest ever.

As often as possible they assemble a new team of musicians who assume the mission of writing, recording, and mixing a song within 24 hours of effort. The results are posted free online in mp3 format on www.tunehall.com.

After 6 months the website received over 1000 uploads and an average of 20,000 hits/month. To date songs have been recorded in 3 languages, English, French and Japanese. All three are represented on the album.

After 2 weeks of posting song #5 “Really not Bad” on garageband.com, the song won many listener’s picks awards including “Experimental Track of the Day”

Tune Hall was founded in August 2005 by Julian Smit and Jérôme Arsenault.
