Album Notes

My friends call me Moe or Dr Moe. I am a PhD Psychologist recovering from "Burnout." I write and record music to heal my Soul. I'm told the music is uplifting, inspirational and "Fun" - works for me! I like the sounds of Dutch Mason, The Doors, Tom Petty, Brian Ferry, The Hothouse Flowers and Leon Russell. There's a Rockin Blues quality here that just grabs me, and the lyrics, well the lyrics seem to come from "Out There" someplace, where we're being watched in a friendly & loving manner.

This collection of songs reflect my life experience, both as a guy trying to find his way in the World and as a therapist who for nearly 25 years listened to people talk about their pain and then looked to me for some guidance. There's an R&B upbeat flavor here now, as well as Blues. The title track "Breathless" is warm R&B and soothing. There's Spiritual Messages everywhere, especially in music. Just assert what you believe and it'll come to you.

From my personal and professional experiences, I've learned 3 basic things: 1) We're all in this together; 2) Love is the most potent medicine in the World, and 3) Never say "never" - anything's possible! Here I am pushing 60 selling music that I've written, performed and recorded after spending half of my life as a helping professional. How's that for a Cosmic Surprise?

Summer of 2004, my wife and I got to go on a cruise aboard The Queen Mary II, the newest and biggest cruiseliner afloat. Didn't see that one coming. Why? Because it was a "gift." Somebody up there likes us. Let me know how you like the music.

P.S. I also write Spiritual / Psychological / Inspirational Books. Come visit us at the website: http://www.mauriceturmel.com

ENJOY THE MUSIC - Let me know how it makes you feel!
