Album Notes

Growing up in small town like Paris, Texas, makes it hard to even think of a rock band being around and it really makes it hard to think that they would be liked. Well us five guys of Turning Point set out on a mission to change that. We put ourselves together about 2 years ago, but have went through so many changes that the core band has only been successfully playing together for about a year. Our album titled "Love to Hate Us; Hate to Love Us," is a motto with us. It always seems that people either really like us or just really don't, there is no in between. It just seemed that the people that like us are wondering why and how they could like some crazy haired kids with loud music, and then the people that didn't like us really got enjoyment out of not liking us just because we look as if we were having a good time. So that is how the album name came about, it has always been a motto for the band, especially in our home town where there is a lot of country music and it is almost impossible to squeeze in our rock band, but somehow we've done it. The band soon realized that we didn't want to just play in this town, that we wanted to make this our life, our career and thats how we come to this point, hopefully this can help. We have one album so far but more to come.
