ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is the first ambient chillout album released by Texas tunesmith Jeffrye Glenn Tveraas. It is the latest in a series of instrumental works that formerly were created for video games by Sega, Sony, Acclaim and a host of others. Although well known as a performing songwriter in Austin he likes to compose and create moody instrumental tracks late at night in his private studio and this CD represents the best of those sessions.

There is a real theme to this work; it is inspired by a long week at a cabin next to a mountain lake in Maine. There the imagination runs wild about what may be hidden beneath the surface even as the body and soul are soothed by the soft waters and the sheer quietude ot this tranquil setting.

This album is an hour of solace and tranquility with a light, medium-tempo lilt and is awash with evolving and complex synth textures gracing some interesting chord progressions.
