If Chrissie Hynde & Janis Joplin had a love child, it might sound like Lisa Hannon, who leads the boys on 13 original tunes that run the greasy gamut from fiery honky tonk ("Cliche") to sultry country ("Love Junkie"), hard-charging country-rock ("Get In"), straight-up rock ("Drinkin' About You", "Worth It) and even stripped down emotive gems ("Sandbox", "Born With Wings", "Pennies").

Can you categorize these cleverly written tunes as alt-country? Americana? Rock 'n roll? Whatever you want to call it, "twang" is the tie that binds. If you're a fan of any of these genres, you will not be disappointed with this album (which the band steadfastly insists on calling it.)

good stuff!!!!
Great alternative to the Top-40ish country that seems to be getting all the airplay. Clever songwriting delivered with unique and distinguished vocals. All backed up by a tight band. Edgy and cool! Just a hell of a lot of fun to listen to!

Im talking outside of my genre here,so excuse me if i dont get the jive down just pat.But i have to say that if you havent tried sitting yourself down in front of the speakers,up real loud,and staring into space while the Twangs play at you,then you simply havent lived!The vibrant lead vocals talk you right into a live gig,and that riff maester driving the axe puts you straight in the mainbeam like your'e a rabbit on the line.In short,this band are mainline and addictive with no negative side effects.Try it.You won't be disappointed!
