Album Notes

TwinnCampbell is the brainchild of Sub (Mike Caro) of SubStudio,NY,NY. Being impressed after listening to a few collaborations between Scott Campbell and Louis Twinn, Sub remarked how cool it would be if we were to form a famous Americana Folk Band, and thus the history begins. After nearly a year of writing/recordings/emailing music files back and forth, our first CD is finally finished.

Being the multi-talented kind of guy Scott is, most of the music production was handled by him, and seeing how somebody had to sing backup harmonies, he got stuck with that too. Louis gets the easy jobs of rhythm guitar and lead vocal. He\'s also the better looking of the two.

A very special guest appearance has been made by \"Al David\", lead guitarist on \"Down At Lou\'s\". We think you\'ll enjoy his chickin pickin immensely.

You will find songs about GrandMa/GrandPa, sitting on the front porch back in the good old days, songs about spooky stories they would tell to scare us kids, songs about serious subjects, maybe even a history lesson or two. Songs about a farmers wisdom passed down to his son, silly songs too, that\'s our favorite kind to do.

And last but not least a special thanks to Mike for inspiring us and a special thanks to the good folks over at \"Just Plain Folks\" for all the invaluable feedback and support.
