Album Notes

The Work In Progress Band consists of John Marshall, Nashid Abdul, Pete Peterson, Ben Irvin and Royal Joiner .

We are an Atlanta Georgia based Blues, Funk and Soul Band.
We have been playing locally and regionally for over ten years and average 150 live shows each year. We are a six piece band with Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano (Keyboard) Harmonica and more. We play many different venues and strive for audience participation and enjoyment. This band features The legendary Big Royal Joiner on Keyboard who besides playing with Work in Progress is The Great Blues legend Chick Willis' keyboard player. We also feature the phenomenal Bass playing of Nashid Abdul who has so many credits that we cant even begin to count them including playing with and for Big Bill Morganfield, the son of the late great "Muddy Waters". This line-up also features the incomparible Mr. Pete Peterson on the track
"A Better Woman" and is now a permanent member. Lets not forget our drummer Ben Irvin who has played with R&B and Blues acts worldwide. I add the main guitar work to this terrific project and have had such a great pleasure playing with this all-star line-up.
