Album Notes

TWO PART INVENTION is a duet of flute and classical guitar, performing a wide repertoire ranging from Elizabethan ballads to modern commissioned works. “This combination of flute and guitar…is a winning one,” hails Allentown’s Morning Call, and praises their “lovely, goosebump-inducing performances” as well as their “great skill and musicality.”

Morning Star – Music in Moravian America is a collection of pieces discovered in the archives of the original Moravian settlements in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Now arranged for flute and guitar, these works were performed and recorded live in the authentic and beautifully restored buildings of the early Moravian settlements – where they had first been performed over 250 years earlier.
