Two Tons of Steel presents for your listening enjoyment this holiday season "Tangled In Tinsel", a collection of 6 Christmas songs that will put a smile on your face and some spring in your step. Their roots/rockabilly swingin' takes on holiday classics such as "Jingle Bells" and "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" will get your blood pumping while "Here Comes Santa Claus" and "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" stay more true to the sounds of the Christmas songs of yesteryear that are now a part of holiday Americana. Their cover of Merle Haggard's somber "If We Make It Through December" is in stark contrast to the lyrically happier songs included and is a compliment to the rest of the upbeat songs on this CD. They end with a switch into full-on hardwood honky-tonk mode with the dancehall shuffle of "Please Mr. Santa", a lesser known Christmas song they found on an Evan Johns and the H-Bombs Christmas LP.
