ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rewriting history- It was one fateful night in the summer of 1987 when history would be forever changed. For it was on this night that flight US139 on route to Great Britain disappeared somewhere over the Atlantic. On board the plane was all five member and companions of the now infamous heavy metal band “Twyce Shy”. The band was scheduled to play the Monster’s of Rock concert at Castle Donnington; unfortunately the plane never reached its destination. Instead, it crashed on a deserted island and Twyce Shy was never heard from again until now… Last week the band was rescued when a group of men aboard a fishing vessel sailing close to the island, spotted what appeared to be a large recreation of Iron Maiden’s “Eddie”. “We weren’t trying to be rescued at this point, we just thought the statue would be cool to have on the island.” said guitarist DeeZul. The fishermen docked at the island to investigate and soon spotted the quintet. All members of the band were very happy to see their rescuers and get back to civilization. The only exception was Bassist Doc Terrell who was afraid he would be forced to shave the majestic mustache he had grown while marooned on the island. In a press conference yesterday a spokesperson for the band said, “The world has changed a lot in the last 20 plus years but Twyce Shy hasn’t. Living in isolation on a deserted island will do that.” When asked about the future of the band he went on to say, “To see these guys play today is like stepping back in time. They are going to be huge again very soon.” Plans are underway for a comeback tour scheduled to begin in April 2008. Anyone who never got the chance to see Twyce Shy in the 80’s, need not worry, because soon everyone will have the chance to see the exact same show. This is an act not to be missed. “Ready or not, we are bringing back hair band metal” said the always enthusiastic Rycky Styx, TS’s drummer. At press time, vocalist Rod Steele and guitarist JP Marino were unavailable for comment. Sources close to the band said of Steele and Marino, “someone told them that music no longer needs to be recorded on tape and we haven’t seen them since.” He added, “We expect they will be back by the first gig.” Be sure to check out Twyce Shy tearing down a town near you soon!!
