ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I love acoustic music and am very pleased with how this record turned out! Read on and you'll easily see why!

The above EP was co-produced by Ty and world-class instrumentalist Steve Thomas. Steve has been a "sideman to the stars" for 25+ years including: Del McCoury; Jim & Jesse and The Virginia Boys; The Lost and Found; The Whites; The Osborne Brothers; Aaron Tippin; Barbara Mandrell; Brooks and Dunn; LeeAnn Womack; Kenny Chesney; John Michael Montgomery; Ronnie Bowman, and Lorrie Morgan. He regularly appears on the Grand Ol' Opry with the legendary Jesse McReynolds and others. Ty recorded this project at Steve's "Gain Train" studio in the Nashville area (and Steve played on every track -- please see down below for more details).

Wonderful musician (player and singer) Jeneé Fleenor helped make this EP special by singing harmony on 4 of the 7 songs. Jeneé has been a member of several of Nashville's top country and bluegrass touring bands including Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time; Terri Clark; Martina McBride; Blake Shelton and country music legend, Don Williams. While touring with such accomplished artists, Jeneé has played the Grand Ol' Opry countless times, and has made numerous television appearances, including Good Morning America, The Late Show with David Letterman, Dancing With The Stars, The View, The Talk, CMA Awards, CCMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Crossroads, and NASCAR and Superbowl concerts.

The songs on this record are some of the most requested songs I've written or co-written.

My influences are many . . . but to mention a few: Lennon and McCartney, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and many of today's well-known writers that have likewise been influenced by these giants. I am also influenced by many of the wonderful writers I am privileged to know and host at the songwriter shows I produce in Nashville.
