Album Notes

Alive & Well and Livin’ the Dream

A breath of fresh country air is blowing in from the plains of Oklahoma where Ty England is Alive & Well and Livin’ the Dream. A fateful friendship with college roommate Garth Brooks helped Ty’s star rise quickly in the ‘90s. He spent several years on the superstar’s history-making tour and along the way scored significant airplay, including the top-5 hit “Should’ve Asked Her Faster.” Fueled by a “traditionalist integrity,” Ty has stuck to his roots and retained his solid fan base throughout the years, consistently drawing rave reviews from his live performances.

The songs on his latest release Alive & Well and Livin’ the Dream range from soulful to rough and ready. For the first time Ty was able to write or co-write the majority of the songs on a record. These songs reflect his love of the outdoors and strong sense of patriotism. Acclaimed songwriter Tony Arata (“The Dance”) contributes two songs to this exciting new release. For Ty England, the journey from Nashville back to Oklahoma has led to an even greater appreciation of the road his career has followed, and a clearer vision of where it will lead.

Texan's Hold'em Ty's "rockin' tribute to the Texas Honkytonk" just finished an 8 week run as # 1 on both the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio!
