If your looking for a great singer/songwriter album then you've come to the right place. This album takes you on sonic adventure where you may find yourself want to ask your local DJ to cue that track up again. Tyler Byrnes is a talented musician singer/songwriter who has released two album prior to "Hope is Real" and has received great reviews regarding his writing and performance. He sings all the tracks as well as plays guitars, trumpet, and gurdy hurdy (a rather unique French instrument) that is featured on the track "Only a Dream Come True." An extremely talented musician/producer is also featured on this CD- Ross Rice, (Human Radio) on drums, guitars, and pianos. Jeremy Backofen from the Felice Brothers is featured on Bass. Also, Robert King from Mice Parade plays piano. This unique blend of musicians yielded an extremely solid singer/songwriter album that is both insightful and unique. The music is definitely not "fast food music", instead it gives the lister a reflective experience where the songs reach a nerve in the body that only is felt through a moment of elation or breakthrough.
