notes
I am a performer at various renaissance festivals. Grew up in an Irish household, learning all traditional melodies and ballads. Worked for 30 years as an electrician, and am now retired. I live in Michigan with my daughter and hope to move to Ireland soon. My influences were Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, many of the 70s folk artists.

Wonderful CD, great selection of songs, simply but elegantly performed!
author: Chris LaFondThis CD has a great selection of Celtic and English tunes that you would hear at a Ren Faire or festival. But before you think to yourself "Not that dammed Wild Mountain Thyme again", take a listen. The performance of all of these tunes is fresh and clean. Kevin Tyler's distinct tenor voice, (and his backup singer's), along with his very solid guitar skills, make all of these songs seem new. My favorites are the Ash Grove and Health To The Company. As a performer of folk music myself, I really appreciate the treatment that these songs are given, and have listened to this CD many times in the couple of weeks since I received it. Bravo!
