Album Notes

Jeffrey "Type" Tune was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Forming a punk band in high school, most of his influences are from the punk rock genre. What sets him apart from your average rapper is his motto: have fun. Unlike most emcees, Type appears egoless yet confident, fun not cocky. When he hits the stage, it's time to party! His shows are more interactive with the crowd and tend to turn into comedy routines between songs.
Type is a solo rapper. He does vocals over beats from various producers. To play a show, all that he needs is a mic and a sounds system with access to a CD player. He is in three groups (Illegitimate Children with Grieves, the Let Go with Kublakai and Captain Midnite and Fuck You! with Inkubiz) and sometimes will bring additional characters to liven up the energy of his set.
Type has self released two full length solo albums: Mustache Immaculate and Well Known Secrets. His group Illegitimate Children released the My Girlfriend Beats Me E.P. along with the music video. He runs his own myspace page (www.myspace.com/themctype) with updated songs and videos weekly. He has been on several radio stations in Seattle, including Kube 93 and KEXP 90.3. The most popular songs thus far have been "Crackhead Dance" from Well Known Secrets and "Walkin' My Path" from Mustache Immaculate.
