Gotta give it up
This is one of the best albums I have reviewed for our online magazine. It's eclectic, yet rootsy. A variety of sounds and ideas. Great vocals.

Good beats and warm melodies
Hey this is one of the better CDs that I picked up on CD Baby. I gotta say I was a little skeptical of the funk/folk sound because I have heard a lot of bands trying to capture that 60's/70's feel. Typhoon Ferri does their own thing and they do it admirably: strong vocals and beats. Really interesting songwriting, it's not the same old melodies pasted on a new piece of construction paper with elmer's glue. This is a brand new craft.

Great listen!
I've been a Typhoon Ferri fan for years and to finally be able to hear more songs from these guys is great. Their new record is solid all the way through and covers lots of ground. It's rock, it's folky, it's jazzy, bluesy, and even has some operetic guest vocals on "Pearl." Truly this an amazing album that I cannot recommend enuogh! And for the price everyone should pick it up without a doubt in their mind!
