"Changing the world one soul at a time"

Tyris, a native of Chicago, has been on the jazz scene for several years performing in the local jazz clubs in and around the city. As a musician, Tyris is dedicated to perfection in his playing, and as a producer and composer, he has created some memorable music for other artists. Tyris has participated in, and written songs for artists around Chicago including the eclectic musical styles of Jazz, R&B, Gospel and Rap to name a few.

"I like to write songs that speak to the innermost being of a person" says Tyris. "Music is a language in it self and is universal to all the people of the world." After several years of playing the organ for church, Tyris began honing his talents at the clubs of Chicago. His talents on the piano then led him to stages across the world including countries like Singapore, New Delhi and Mumbai, India, and Seoul, Korea.

Tyris is currently on tour with his band in Seoul, Korea where he is entertaining audiences at the Sirocco club. The CD 'Angel' is the sophomore release of Tyris with smooth piano techniques on songs like 'Trinity', and funky grooves like the hit song 'Melissa', dedicated and written by his guitar player Leonard 'Len' Stallworth, and the title track 'Angel', with smooth vocals that compare with such artists like Whitney Houston and Diane Reeves.

In India, Tyris also collaborated on 4 songs with established and well renowned Indian artist Jai Walia. The CD is scheduled to be released later this year. Tyris is currently preparing for his latest venture while on tour - a live CD that is to be recorded in Seoul, Korea.
