The artist TyRonne is bringing R&B music to a new level of respect, integrity, and pure blend. His rich, soulful gospel background is also the foreground of his music. Absent from the harsh profanities of a majority of the music that is released today, his debut album, “High Voltage”, will be a project for the masses. TyRonne was born Tyrone Stanley on October 16 to Chief Fred E. Stanley, Sr. and Irene Stanley, the fourth of five children. He began singing in church and school choirs at the age of four in Goldsboro, N.C. At the age of fifteen, he had become a skilled pianist. His first professional opportunity came when he landed the role of “Daniel” in the Off Broadway musical ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, produced at his alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University. A 1995 graduate, TyRonne was known around campus for his talents. He was a soloist in the A&T Gospel Choir and the Choral Ensemble; a drummer in the Blue & Gold Marching Machine; Mr. Aggie; an E. Gwynn dancer; and a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. TyRonne later took a solo contract as a singer and dancer with the hit show TOTALLY TELEVISION for Busch Gardens, Inc. in Williamsburg, VA. Following the close of this contract, he toured Europe for a year with Stardust Productions of Amsterdam, Holland in which he was a lead singer and dancer. He later became Assistant Director. In addition to his vocal and theatrical accomplishments, he is a published playwright and received rave reviews for his musical production, Soul On Fire, in which he co-starred with Miss Black America, Basheerah Ahmad. The New York debut is planned for early Fall 2008. His love songs and R&B music has been used in several theatrical productions and projects in New York City. The gospel compositions and arrangements that God has inspired him with are sung by multiple choirs in Oklahoma, Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, and New York. TyRonne has been a featured performer with artistic greats such as Melba Moore, Cissy Houston, Dionne Warwick, Bobby Jones, Broadway Director George Faison, Tramaine Hawkins, Hezekiah Walker, Donald Lawrence, and recently made his New York City Opera debut in Toni Morrison’s MARGARET GARNER. He received rave reviews in the role of Sportin’ Life in the Australian/New Zealnd tour of Gershwin’s opera, Porgy & Bess. TyRonne has been featured as an up and coming artist in the Soul Café, formerly owned by nationally acclaimed actor/musician Malik Yoba; Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar; and CBGB’s Gallery. He has appeared on the Emmy Award winning Sex & the City, CBS’ As the World Turns and ABC’s All My Children.

This is the most soulful sound that I have heaard in a long time. You were smart to have him on your site. I look forward to hearing a lot more from him. It is mature but not old - great to dance to. The messages are clear and non violent against women; how refreshing!
