Album Notes

The ancient footsteps of the Celts echo across the rolling green hills of the Galilee and resonate in the strings of the fiddle and harp. Irish music is experiencing a wave of popularity and can be heard in concerts and festivals throughout Israel. Gal was born and raised in northern Israel. Sunita emigrated from the northern United States and made her new home in the center of the country.

Emerging from this vibrant music scene, Gal & Sunita created Tzalool to reflect their love of Irish music. In Hebrew Tzalool means 'clear'. The clarity of sound and the essence within Irish music is the spirit of Tzalool.
