Album Notes

ubik. is Seattle\'s premier psy-prog drift core outfit, an unusual four piece that draws from psychedelic, rock, math, ambient, and even (sometimes) metal... all without guitars. Vocals can drift melodically or lock in and roar over two basses that stretch out over a highs and lows. While the basses can vary from natural bass tones to emulating guitars or synths, the drums range from minimalist to meticulous and even toward arrhythmic sonic sound design.

ubik.s first album, 2008\'s The World Is A Glorious Biomechanical Nightmare, is available now, and the band is currently playing around the Pacific Northwest and consistently working on new material.
