Dear Friends,

Thank you for joining me on this cross-cultural journey as I share with you some of my most soulful artistic experiences.

I have been inspired by travel across lands, learning, and engaging with people from many cultures. Here I present to you a number of significant melodies... timeless reflections of the  Arab, Jewish and African American heritages that have influenced me.

Along the way, I met very special performers and artists who are truly dedicated to the pursuit of bridging differences through exploration of cultural commonalities. These experiences have given me hope for a better future. With better understanding, tolerance and peaceful co-existence will prevail.

Rumi’s One Song and Thich Naht Hanh’s Interconnectedness find an artistic home here... inspirations that guide my cello sounds.

Recording several distinct cello voices in harmony has become possible thanks to the technical mastery of Jamey Reilly, using ribbon microphones and lovingly hand-made preamplifiers connected to high quality digital recording equipment.

I am indebted to all of the wonderful composers, whose songs I have arranged for a cello choir.

I invite you to immerse yourself in the multiple dimensions of this recording, as we embark on a journey that takes us beyond borders.
