I have loathed other bands. I have hated other bands. I have even, on occasion, regretted listening to a band. But NOT this band!
The Ugglians say they are a 3-piece, but they sound like a 4-and-a-half pieces, piece....anyway.
I feel like I could woop an SUV's butt driving a Mini-Cooper while listening to this CD! Thundering rythmic angst that brightens your day and even ends with a hymn to bring you into the promised land ..
.. hugging you til' your eyes bleed. And the PJ Harvey cover is a blast too.
If Clear Channels' Worldwide CEO Lowry Mays had an anti-theme .... it would be this entire CD.
